Making brushing and polishing operations smooth

BRUSHING, polishing, cleaning, and surface preparation are common operations in metalworking industries to meet industrial and household needs, but having effective and desired solutions in this regard is something that eludes many companies.

Our expertise in surface condition abrasives is the key factor in brushing machine success.”

The company has also been making in-house Specialty abrasive brushes for the metal surface conditions since 1995. Commenting on the prevailing competition in the national and international market and how the company has geared up to face it, Dr. Arvind Patel said, “We don’t have the competition from the similar machine manufacturers, but our main challenges are current manual deburring and finishing process by offhand work. At present this operation is done by manual off-hand operation with portable power tools or manual filing where less investment is needed but extreme labor cost is involved. The challenge is to convince the end-user of atomization and a faster production process. Whenever there is a new technology, it always involves cost. Industries need to appreciate the benefits of automation investment vis-a-vis current manual process.”

However, according to Dr. Patel, times are changing, and industry players have started realizing the need for quality and timely output. “We work with our customers to develop innovative products to increase productivity with reduced rejection and rework.
