Consistent Deburring Without Damaging Thin Parts
Manual deburring of thin sheet metal components is time-consuming, inconsistent and dependent on operator skill. Conventional grinding can also create excessive heat, unwanted scratches, sheet deformation and uneven edge quality.
The VALGRO DB Series uses wide-face abrasive brushing technology to process flat components uniformly across the working width. It is especially effective for removing micro burrs and breaking sharp edges from punched, stamped, sheared and lightly laser-cut parts.
The machine can also improve the overall surface by reducing minor scratches, oxide, stains and processing marks. Its conveyorised operation enables continuous production, consistent quality and reduced manual handling.
The brush-head sequence, abrasive grade and process parameters can be selected according to the required deburring, edge-breaking, cleaning or cosmetic-finishing result.
Key Process Advantages
- Suitable for thin and delicate sheet metal parts
- Removes light burrs and sharp edges
- Minimises heat generation and sheet deformation
- Improves surface cleanliness and appearance
- Processes small and large components
- Delivers consistent results across production batches
- Reduces dependence on manual grinding
- Supports safer and cleaner manufacturing
- Can be integrated into an existing production line
- Offers a compact solution for limited shop-floor space
Application note: The DB Series is recommended for micro-burr removal, light edge breaking and surface conditioning. Heavy vertical burrs, slag or high stock-removal applications may require a belt-grinding or hybrid machine configuration.
