Manual or conventional strip polishing can create shade variation, polishing lines, uneven gloss and inconsistent roughness over long coil lengths. Valgro’s continuous strip and coil polishing system controls strip movement, abrasive pressure and finishing parameters to produce a stable, repeatable surface.
Depending on the required finish, the machine can be configured with abrasive belts, non-woven brushes, polishing wheels or a combination of finishing heads. Individual parameters can be adjusted for different materials, strip widths, thicknesses and production speeds.
Its modular design allows customers to select the required process stages without investing in unnecessary equipment. The line may be supplied as a basic polishing machine or as a complete turnkey coil-to-coil finishing solution.
For international projects, Valgro offers application evaluation, sample trials, process development, customized engineering, documentation, installation guidance and operator training.
