The Valgro DEB Series replaces inconsistent, labor-intensive manual deburring with a controlled, repeatable, production-friendly process.
As components pass continuously through the machine, rotating disc brushes contact the edges from different directions. This action removes light and secondary burrs while smoothly breaking sharp internal and external edges. The process is effective on irregular profiles, slots, contours, and holes that are difficult to finish consistently by hand.
A major advantage of the DEB Series is its ability to process surface-sensitive components. With properly selected tooling and validated parameters, the machine can deburr the edges of plastic-coated, laminated, zinc-plated and fine-blanked parts while minimizing contact with the protected surface.
Depending on the application and brush selection, the machine can perform:
- Burr removal from internal and external contours
- Sharp-edge breaking and controlled edge rounding
- Surface roughening before powder coating, painting or bonding
- Orbital or non-directional finishing
- Oxide and light surface-contamination removal
- Finishing of small and complex sheet metal parts
The result is improved component safety, consistent edge quality, lower manual dependency, and better production output.
Key Features
Multidirectional Disc-Brush Technology
Rotating disc brushes approach the component from multiple directions, enabling consistent processing of external edges, internal cut-outs, holes, slots and complex contours.
Surface-Safe Edge Processing
The finishing action can be concentrated on the part edges, helping protect visible surfaces, decorative finishes and protective plastic film.
Fine-Blanked Part Compatibility
Controlled brush pressure makes the DEB Series suitable for precision fine-blanked components that require burr removal without aggressive grinding marks or dimensional damage.
Deburring and Edge Rounding in One Process
The machine removes light burrs and breaks sharp edges during a continuous through-feed operation, reducing separate manual finishing stages.
Uniform Surface Roughening
With application-specific abrasive brushes, the system can generate a consistent surface texture to improve powder-coating, painting, adhesive bonding and sealing performance.
Processing of Complex Profiles
Flexible disc brushes can reach difficult internal and external features that conventional straight roller brushes may not process uniformly.
Adjustable Process Parameters
Brush pressure, conveyor speed and finishing intensity can be adjusted according to the material, burr condition, component thickness and required edge quality.
Small-Part Processing Capability
Small components can be processed using suitable conveyor, vacuum-holding or part-support arrangements.
Repeatable Production Quality
Controlled machine settings provide consistent finishing results from part to part and across different production shifts.
Reduced Manual Deburring
Automated processing lowers operator fatigue, improves workplace safety and reduces dependence on individual manual skills.
